Doug Scott-Davidson is a globally recognized leader in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance with over two decades of experience spanning Asia, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Throughout his career, Doug has held executive and senior management roles in multinational companies such as Fonterra, Kellogg’s, Synlait, and Open Country Dairy, overseeing operations in complex and highly regulated environments.

He has successfully led large-scale projects across diverse cultural and regulatory contexts, from managing global food safety audits in Asia-Pacific to implementing end-to-end quality systems in billion-dollar dairy operations. Doug’s leadership was instrumental in Open Country Dairy becoming the world’s second-largest exporter of Whole Milk Powder, and he has directly contributed to award-winning food safety culture transformations.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Microbiology underpinning his strong technical foundation in food science and microbiological risk management. He holds a Master of Engineering Management and has worked extensively with multinational corporations such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Amcor, TIC Group and Forsa, delivering operational efficiency, supply chain optimisation, and cost control across complex manufacturing and supply chain operations.

His expertise includes Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, WHS compliance, ERP integration, and continuous improvement, allowing him to identify bottlenecks, standardise processes, and build high performance cultures across diverse industries.
